Deborah Hallett – Biography
Founder and MD of At 90 Degrees, a management-consulting firm Deborah Hallett is an internationally experienced senior executive with over 30 years in industry as line manager and management consultant.
Deborah founded At 90 Degrees to – “In the space between a business idea or policy ambition, and delivering it, there is a vast expanse of applied knowledge needed. Often it doesn’t exist. How you close that gap and transfer the experience of individuals and other industries to new markets or policies is how we help individuals and companies achieve extraordinary things.”
She has a track record of helping private and public sector organisations to; achieve growth, manage complex business change programmes, optimise their value chains for greater innovation and productivity, and, lead large multi-cultural organisations.
Deborah is often asked to speak about technology and its impact on business, public services and outsourcing trends as well as delivering innovation, leadership and the support of international business growth.
Among the companies that Deborah has advised are Diageo, HBoS, The Forensic Science Service, The National Archive and the London Development Agency.
Her early career was spent with the Ford Motor Co., Mars Group and SmithKline Beecham. Where her work placed her at the leading edge of strategic change to build business value, including, establishing the first manufacturing enterprise for the Mars Group in the former USSR.
Prior to establishing At 90 Degrees, Deborah was on the management board of a leading technology and business services firm. She undertook her post-graduate studies at Exeter University’s Centre for Leadership and holds a Bsc Econ from the University of Wales.
Deborah is a Board Director of social enterprise Rolle Exmouth Ltd., a member of the CBI and IoD. She lives on the working family farm in Devon.
